Can you do a female version of the geekbot/nutritional bot that respects women's cycles understands their biology etc. like how we have it with male one prioritizing dht androgens all that.
How did you hormonally/adrenally recover from accutane and how long did it take? I did a course at 17-18 and am concerned it had serious lasting effects. Whenever I've tested, I've always had mid T, low DHT & DHT:T ratio (even w/o 5ARis), and subjective + measured high cortisol. Everything else comes back fine or even optimal (thyroid, lipids, kidney, etc.) but I always felt & measured low androgen. I would have thought the effects wouldn't have lingered this long (mid 20s now), but whatever I do, it seems I can't get my androgens up despite being fit, low bodyfat w/ decent muscle, and living "high T lifestyle" to the degree I know how. I do wonder if my mental/mindset is putting a ceiling on my hormones, but I'm not sure how to change that. Almost like a chicken-or-egg problem.
To be honest, I neither know nor care whether or not my system has fully stabilized post-accutane. But I know that worrying about it is a surefire way to not recover.
when looking at accutane recovery, primary focus should be on bilary system. TUDCA, Taurine, and Phosphaditylcholine are your friends. Lithium for the neuroregenerative component (accutane is particularly neurotoxic).
I personally believe that androgen levels are a relatively unimportant marker (within reason) as the real variable is androgen receptor sensitivity. My test fluctuates between 800 and 900 but there have been times I’ve tested at 900 and felt like a total wimp and times I’ve tested in the 700s and felt great.
The most high T thing you can do is not worry about your T. Just do high T things and your physiology will follow
Essential is highly subjective as everybody reacts differently, but I can share what tools I have felt comfortable using frequently for the last 5+ years:
Taurine for cellular hydration, mitochondrial function, bile acid formation, GABA enhancement, glucose shuttling
Glycine for GABA, collagen synthesis, glutathione precursor
Magnesium glycinate for all things magnesium, nervous system support, GOAT
L theanine for alpha wave brain state, calm alert focus
Shilajit for mineral maxxing, mitochondrial energy, micronutrient deliver
Phosphaditylcholine for cell membranes, brain function, liver health, bile formation,
CoQ10 for mitochondrial electron-transport chain, cellular energy production
BPC-157 (if you can consider that a supplement) for cellular protection, tissue repair, gut lining integrity
Colostrum for immunity, IGF, gut health, light antimicrobial effect
These are essential in that they have broad-spanning benefits, manageable risk profile, low risk of overconsuming (low, not no).
Recently got diagnosed with moderate inattentive ADHD - enlightening to realize how that's affected the way I've existed my whole life, but I've been strategizing how to adapt based on that (choline supplementation, CNS-focused lifestyle, utilizing stimulants responsibly, antioxidants to balance stimulant usage)
If I were to start using a pharma stimmy (i.e. Adderall), what is the best way to do it safely? Current plan is:
-1-2x per week (3x max, rarely)
-optimize brain fuel (as opposed to more stimulants)
-free radical neutralize-maxx (grounding mat for desk + in grass daily, antioxidants, sauna/sweating)
What is your ideal protocol for using pharma-grade stims safely and responsibly?
When it comes to Adderal/amphetamines, you should be microdosing to the point that you barely feel it. Any level of "euphoria" is excitotoxicity and nuking brain cells.
The best use case for Addy is to rewire your habits. One can assume pharmacologically enhanced habit formation after about 2-3 weeks. So taking a microdose of addy for that period while ONLY engaging in those tasks can rewire your natural reward response.
So if you want to derive pleasure from getting stuff done, cut out all your detractors for that period you your brain only has reward extraction from good stuff. Addy will make it feel enjoyable but if you engage in already stimulating activities like video games or scrolling you'll shoot yourself in the foot.
Make sure to consume a lot of choline, either from a supplement or egg yolks. Vitamin C after your Addy usability window to help with clearance. Agmatine sulfate is a powerful tolerance recalibration tool. All of the other things you mentioned are crucial implementations to avoid becoming a cracked out basement dweller.
My general rule is smallest dose humanly possible and extreme constraint with distractions. Its about rewiring more than it is a short-term crutch
Honestly I am not fully opposed to Omega 3s. Its the tendency for rancidity that makes the supplements suboptimal. I aim for an Omega 3 refeed 1-2x/week where I will spam fatty seafood. You can try this but if omega 3s are improving her anxiety, just get a well-preserved source like cod liver oil

Not a bad idea. I will redo Geekbot entirely and send it over to Claude
Will you be moving the male geekbot to claude too?
Pardon brother, but I couldn’t get links for AMA 1-13 to work. 14-16 still work fine.
Thank you for letting me know, will fix this

What’s your early/mid stage hair loss protocol? Family history of balding. Non finasteride obviously. Mid 20’s athlete
Early to mid is best time to catch it. My personal recs:
topical GHK-Cu, Niacinamide, caffeine, (Loxstar is solid product)
Scalp massages
Avoid vasoconstrictors like nicotine
Red light therapy
microneedling
oral castor oil
What are you’re essential supplement list ?

Hi Noah, hope you’re doing well. When you follow the « fruits until noon » protocol, how do you manage your oral health ?
I was wondering if eating fruits all morning can affect the oral microbiome and the teeth health. If yes, what is your routine to protect them ?
(Also, do you plan to release the part 2 of the winter arc article, about the meal plans and diet ?)
Thanks !
Hey! For oral health big thing is eating sugars quickly and rinsing your mouth with water or even better yet sodium bicarbonate to bring down oral Ph.
I use a nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste and try to brush 3x/day. I use a waterpik and tongue scraper as well
General rule is when eating highly acidic foods, make it quick and rinse afterward. Other than that my general oral care makes up for the rest of it.
hey noah.
i am aware fish oil is not good for health. but it NUKES my gf's anxiety or occasional racing thoughts.
and no supplement i have tried so far works as well.
any ideas on what to try to replace it?
