With a new environment comes a new routine. New diet, new habits, new me. Here’s an update on how I’m living this month:
Nicotine & Caffeine
I recently finished a nicotine & caffeine break. I took advantage of having Covid and used my time house-ridden to reset my stimulant tolerance. A lot of the compounds I was taking to recover from C-19 have also been used in treating addiction so I thought “why not”:
BPC-157:
Strong stabilizing effect on dopaminergic and serotonergic pathways. Essentially resets your brain back to homeostasis. Zero cravings for caffeine or nicotine while on it (and zero effect)

NAC:
Modulates glutamate levels in the brain. Glutamate is primary excitatory neurotransmitter. Shown to reduce cravings and addictive behaviors (great for OCD). Notably effective in cocaine and cannabis addictions (take notes, degenerates)
