Sigma Mobility Manifesto: The Basics (part 1)
Mobility: What Separates the Specimens from the Spectacles
Gm everybody
Here’s a quick video going over the core fundamentals of mobility training.
As I mentioned before, I rarely do intensive mobility sessions. Most of my training is done:
Scattered throughout the day
Before Jiu-jitsu
In between sets while working out
You should focus on making Mobility training frictionless, not perfect.
Do whatever you can to make mobility part of your routine. Find what time is easiest for you to train. A few of my favorites are:
First thing in the morning
In-between work blocks
Before bed
Find a solid place you can dedicate to mobility training. One where you can roll around freely. Use the laws of association & repetition. Assign that place with natural movement patterns
Remember, this is mobility flow. Your objective should be to explore your anatomy. Figure out how your body moves, identify areas of weakness & tightness, and generate mind-muscle connection.
This will be a repeating series. Next on the roster is:
Stick work
Cossack squat flow
Animal flow
Godspeed
LETS GOOOOOOOOO FINALLY
that was really helpful, thanks man!!
