Gentlemen! Good morning. Welcome to the first installment of Sigma Supplement Stack.

I will be going over everything I’m taking each month and why. Before we get in, I want to remind you all that supplements are NOT the magic pill that will make you smarter, stronger, and superhuman (peptides maybe). Your health and happiness will not be defined by what pills you take. Nonetheless, supplements do have their place.

Why do we need to supplement in the first place?

“bUt oUr aNcEsToRs dIdN’t NeEd sUpPlEmEnTs”

In a perfect world. We wouldn’t need pills. We’d be swimmingly healthy by intuition. But the modern world is far from perfect. It’s inherently toxic.

We should be able to get everything we need from our diet. But our food system is broken.

Mineral deficient soil → Mineral deficient plants → Mineral deficient animals → Mineral deficient humans

This is amplified by the fact that our guts have been further destroyed by pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants (BPA, antibiotic runoff, chlorinated water). Even if we were able to get everything from food, we wouldn’t be able to absorb it.

I also want to remind you that we’ve been tinkering with herbs & apothecaries since we developed opposable thumbs. Most of our modern medicines come from ancient plant wisdom (just synthesized in a patentable way, thanks pharma)

Aspirin → Willow tree bark

Penicillin → Penicillum mold

Morphine → Opium poppy

Lovastatin → Oyster mushroom

Galantamine → Snowdrop flower
