I notice this emotional “flatness” with many of my patients on these drugs. Also physically you can see the loss of fat in the face making one look older called “ozempic face”. is not a good look. One of my patients who is a pharmacist recently informed me of “ozempic vagina” which is also a phenomenon with loss of tone in the labia. Ugh
such a good piece, honestly this needs to be shouted from the rooftops!
I was wondering if sugar being added to everything can over time also affect the dopaminergic system but I couldn't immediately find any studies on this. Just a gut feel but the same circuitry is affected so I'm thinking there could be a link here.

So now we’ve got SSRIs and weight loss drugs extinguishing our primal flame. Nice.
