What is your process on deciding when to pursue credentials for credibility in a desired field versus just taking action on your ideas, overcoming imposter syndrome and analysis paralysis?

Ideally you'd want to straddle both. Build your credentials while sandboxing bigger projects. I started my first biz while in school. I started my first marketing agency service while building credentials in the tech world.

Straddling both took the pressure off. It gave me space to experiment and more importantly fail. By the time I was ready to go all in, I already had 3+ years of experience. I got my failures out of the way in a low risk sandbox.

Its good to find a failsafe credential. I know no matter how hard I fuck up I can always just market a product.

Imposter syndromes a given. You'll feel like you're not shit, then you'll feel like you're hot shit, then you'll feel like you're not shit again. This is good. Ultimately there's always a bigger fish, the only solution is to be so radically authentic outcomes, optics, and identities don't really matter.

There's a thousand ways to skin a cat, but for me, I just don't take anything that seriously. I have fun with it, I flow, I purposefully make myself dumber to overcome my tendency to overthink and become paralyzed. At the end of the day nothing is that big of a deal. And if you operate from that mindset you'll crush it (as long as you're the ambitious type)

I'd love to know your thoughts on animal movements, primal movements, etc. that focus on strength + mobility. If you don't know what I mean then you can take a look at StrengthSide on YouTube. The guy was lifting heavy weights for years but ended up with a load of injuries, now he prioritises movements which make sure he stays loose and builds strength while maintaining ROM.

Primal flow is my thing. Heavy cross over with grappling and gets you feeling flowy. Animal movements did wonders for my posture too.

Doing the same isolated movements over & over & over again makes you stiff. Primal flow opens you back up

Hey Noah, I’ve been thinking about starting fresh. I’m 30+, liquid with ok pigggy bank, no responsibilities toward others, and I’ve got a remote freelance job.

Since I’m based in northern Europe, I’d need to stay roughly in the same time zone for work, so I’m looking at relocating somewhere around the Mediterranean, ideally with the chance to meet likeminded friends.

You’ve travelled solo and had to start from scratch a few times, what would be your top advice?

The nice thing about our world going to shit is that you're not really missing out on anything if you start from scratch. Send it! Book the flight before you're ready and force yourself to figure everything out before takeoff.

As for personal advice: Use this as an opportunity to reinvent yourself. Be intentional about who you want to be in this new place and more importantly who you no longer want to be. What habits do you want? How do you want others to perceive you? You have a blank slate, you can play any character you want. Don't fall back into undesirable habits.

Find your places. A gym, a restaurant, a coffee shop. Go there every day, make friends with the staff. Use that as your anchor. You attract people by being somebody people know, so get to know people. You'll magnetize other people who are in a similar situation as you.

Will be the most eye opening thing imaginable

ADHD brain here dealing with varying degrees of anhedonia myself, almost certainly caused by 4 years of SSRI use - exercise and focusing on gut health improve it but still looking for a more substantial solution. End of June you mentioned tackling your SSRI induced anhedonia more head on, any updates on that journey?

Hey! I had a solid anti-anhedonia window but got wrecked by mold this year and am scraping my way back.

A few things that have been monumental:

- Copious amounts of time basking in nature

- Abstinence from cheap dopamine & hyperstimulation

- Lithium Orotate

- L. Reuteri

- L carnitine

- Methylene blue microdosing

Biggest thing is nature. The hyperinflammatory state of cities/indoor living makes healing impossible. Grounding, bodies of water if possible, sunlight.

Next on my list is either cortexin or cerebrolysin, but mold toxicity is taking priority

What are some things you have implemented or changed that have made you have that "aha moment" where you thought, "man, I wish I would have done this sooner, this was such an easy thing to do and it help my life so much, why didn't I think of this sooner?"

These could be (and most of the time are) very simple things. Minor changes that make a big impact.

An example for me is the back hatch was broken for so long on my car, so anytime I had to get back there or load up big things in my car, I had to go through the side, making this really inconvenient. I put up with it for so long, then one day I decided to crawl in the back and rip off the panel, moved a latch and now it works fine and my life has improved a lot just by this simple thing.

What are some of these for you?

Great question Jared, off the top of my head:

- Paying for a cleaning service

- Getting rid of all meaningless junk I own

- Moving to warmer climates

- Waking up early

- Deleting social media from my phone

- Remembering to breathe (seriously)

- Being nice to strangers

All of these were "oh shit this is way better" moments

Hey Noah, you’ve mentioned using Obsidian for your knowledge management. How do you go about learning and capturing insights while keeping the system simple enough for an ADHD brain? I often get stuck just capturing and not doing anything with the info. How do you avoid that trap while still keeping it simple?

Hey Nick, Information capture is no longer important. We have tools that not only parse through your data, but all data. Take notes exclusively for memory retention and store in one searchable database (obsidian, Apple Notes, Notion).

I have a strict rule with systems: Its either frictionless or its better to not have it at all. Don't get memed into a hyper-systematized Notion "second brain". Start with desired outcomes and work from there. Task-based systems

For specific context, on my system, I have:

- One Notion notes database with all educational/informational notes organized into categories

- Mindmap canvases in Obsidian

- To-Do Lists and quick jot downs in Apple Notes

Anything in Obsidian or Apple Notes I consider perishable. Anything in Notion I consider long-term

If a system stops working for me I get rid of it. No sunk cost.

Absolutely. Go down to 2ish days per week of fruit till noon. Instead, have easily digestible carb with lean protein. Think steak and rice.

Have one Anabolic refeed a day. This is where you can mix fats and carbs. Think Egg yolks, goat milk, colostrum, and honey.

Up your fats, especially from dairy. Dairy really is the cheat code here.

This is what I've done and I was able to put back on weight quickly

Hey Noah, this question comes from my wife -- she was diagnosed with late onset diabetes type 1 (autoimmune), none of her labs have ever "made sense" in terms of the medical world, and she has not had her period for the past 5 years. I know this is tough to give a general answer to, but what would you start with and/or prioritize in terms of protocol/care?

Hey Andrew, with a multi-factorial autoimmune issue like this, I would start with laying out:

1. All symptoms

2. All potential causes of said symptoms

3. Overlays between personal experience and potential causes.

For example, LADA can be caused by things as seemingly trivial as undiagnosed celiac. Hone in on the "Root cause hypothesis of autoimmune". Allopathic doctors will give you treatment plans, practitioners who subscribe to the root cause hypothesis will look for cure.

You can do both here: find a way to make symptoms manageable and improve quality of life while at the same time digging deeper into root cause.

If I were in her shoes, I would start with what can easily be controlled: inputs and outputs. Low hanging fruits like red light, sunlight, lowering stress, avoiding pesticides, sauna.

I would read how to heal your metabolism by Kate Deering as a foundational primer to deeper dives.

Then I would use GEEKBOT to dig into symptoms, labs, and potential root causes. Particularly viral infections (like EBV), mold, Lyme, and toxin exposure. I would also have her check out Andra (bioavailableND)

I hope this gives you a good building base. Have a convo with Geekbot, it will lead you down some potential rabbit holes/new ideas

Great question. There is ALWAYS a location-independent alternative to whatever you are currently doing. Up until a decade ago an online fitness coach was a total paradox.

First, build career capital in that field to give yourself leverage, even if you don't know what that leverage will be used for. Consider this job number one.

Second, build an escape plan. Dedicate time daily to gathering information and ideating ways to make your job fit your life not the other way around. Eventually, there will be some transition window. A remote side-gig, a small break. Something to prove its possible. Then its just about putting yourself in a position where you're ready to send it when that time comes

It’s pretty clear now that the C-19 jab was a scam (got 2, unfortunately)

Now, I’m 25yo and my doctor wants me to do a booster for the DTP vaccine (for tetanus, polio, diphtheria and pertussis).

I made some researches, and it looks scammy too.

What is your opinion on this ?

It looks bad for the original one injected to babies, but I don’t find datas for this booster, supposed to have a lower concentration.

Do you think I can easily avoid these crap diseases if I don’t do it, knowing I already got the main dose when I was baby ?

Can't give you medical advice as I'm not a doctor. I personally would not get the DTP vaccine. The relevance and risk of these infections is not enough to warrant more adjuvants in my arm personally. When was the last time you heard of somebody getting polio?

Hey Noah I’ve had Hashimoto’s since I was 9. I’m 22 now. I was on T4 meds for 10 years—looked fine (no weight gain or hair loss), but felt awful the whole time. When I went off meds for 2 months, I felt terrible. Then I switched to NDT, which took a long time to tolerate. Six months in, I’ve gained weight around my hips and thighs, wake up puffy, and still don’t feel great. I suspect the weight gain is tied to the NDT driving estrogen dominance and high cortisol. My diet is dialed in—if you were in my shoes, what would you do?

Hey Marcus, have you considered T3? NDT works best in conjunction with T3.

If I were in your shoes, I would start with accepting where I'm at. Not give in, but accept reality. That itself is healing. Then I'd say fuck it and ask myself "even in this state, what can I do?" I'd overleverage on everything that is in my control: Light, food, environment, knowledge. I'd make the shift from looking at it as a curse to looking at it as an opportunity. An opportunity to dive deep, to become well-versed, and to relentlessly experiment.

This is exactly what I did after 2 years of being downright miserable and hopeless. The mindset shift in of itself is healing. Best of luck

I haven’t really considered T3, since I suspect the higher T3 content in NDT is what’s been driving some of the symptoms I’ve noticed with the medication change things like anxiety, weight gain, and feeling a bit on edge. What I have been thinking about trying instead is a T4 medication combined with slow-release T3

You said in one of your YouTube videos that you wouldn't take Mucuna pruriens cuz is way too close to a precursor of biological identical dopamine or something like that, but why is that a bad thing? What are the cons

Mucuna pruiens contains L-dopa, and L-dopa is one minor enzymatic reaction away from being dopamine. If you give your body a constant feed of DOPA, it will downregulate its production of Tyrosine (the precursor to DOPA) similarly to how your testes will stop producing testosterone if you're pinning yourself with T.

Granted, the recalibration period is much smaller and you won't one-shot your natural production, but I'd rather not be in a state where I'm producing less dopamine at baseline, just personal preference

I’ve seen you say to take activated charcoal before bed after drinking alcohol, do you have any thoughts on the “Cheers” supplement?

When is the best time to take colostrum and which brand do you prefer?

For some reason whenever I take Mag-glycinate before bed I wake up too early, I’m assuming that I’m magnesium deficient like everyone else so is there another good time during the day to take it?

1. I would not personally take Cheers but thats because I have my post-drink stack dialed (see Alcohol Protocol. L-Theanine, BPC, Glycine, Colostrum). I would just take DHM independently before taking cheers as dosage is mid

2. Colostrum is best on empty stomach. Optimal for any time you need extra immune/gut support. Also around workout for anabolic properties (IGF-1 maxx). I use Equip personally, best bang for buck and same source as the more expensive brands.

3. Thats interesting, I sprinkle magnesium throughout the day, 60mg mid-morning, some with lunch, before bed. Spread out the dose and consider alternative forms (love Magnesium Taurate). Think of it as a dietary inclusion with relaxation as a benefit. Its actually better to spread it out
